EUROPUMP 2015 Annual Meeting was held between 7-9 May 2015 in Dresden, Germany.
1st day of the Annual Meeting, Standards Commission Workshop, National Associations Secretariats Meeting, Council Meeting and HI / EUROPUMP Officers Meeting took place. After the meetings participants visited Fraunhofer Insititute and in the evening participants and companions met at the National Evening on Paddle Steamer “Dresden”. 2nd day; EUROPUMP, SME, Marketing, Standards and Technical Commissions made presentations and updated the participants on their current activities. Same day Market Segment Presentations were also held by; Mr. Horst Stum from KSB, Mr. Dr.-Ing. Michael Radke from Leistritzs and Mr. Miguel Angel Rivas from Sulzer Pumps. In the evening all the participants joined to a guided tour through historic green vault and it was followed by Formal Dinner at Royal Palace Dresden. 3rd day of the meeting, before the General Assembly Dr. Katrin Hille from ZNL Transfercenter for Neuroscience and Learning, University of ULM was the key note speaker with the topic “How the brain learns?”. Right after the her interesting speech EUROPUMP General Assembly was held, and POMSAD President Mr. Kutlu Karavelioğlu was elected as the new EUROPUMP President for 2015-2017 term. After the farewell lunch, participants left the meeting hoping to meet again at EUROPUMP 2016 Annual Meeting which will be held between 26-28 May 2016 in Ghent, Belgium.
